High Point, North Carolina Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in High Point, North Carolina.

The Housing Authority of the City of High Point (HACHP) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 1, 2024, until September 30, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Live, Work, or Attend School in the City of High Point, Veterans, Working/Employed, Displaced by Natural Disaster, Displaced by Government Action.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.

There were two ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

1. Complete the application at the HAHCP office.
2. Pick up an application at the HAHCP office.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be dropped off at the above address and office hours.
